Mai-HiME - The Genealogical Tree of Fate (舞-HiME 運命の系統樹 Mai-HiME - Unmei no Keitouju) is a Japanese visual novel developed by CIRCUS published by Marvellous interactive. The story takes place around the later half of the TV anime.
Plot[]
In the lands of Fuuka tells a story of a missing university professor researching the HiME legend. One of the researchers in the professor's circle is the protagonist, Kyoji Takamura (高村恭司) who becomes a sub-literature teacher at Fuuka Academy. On his first day, he gets into a misunderstanding with Mai Tokiha and later meets sister Miyu Greer and reunites with the professor's daughter, Sakuya Amakawa (天河朔夜).

Comparisons from other Media[]
- "Love is Forbidden" is prioritized as Fuuka Academy's #1 rule.
- All the ending routes starts from summer to autumn, except for Yuuichi Tate and Mikoto Minagi's which end at spring.
- The Childs can be summoned at their own will, and can strengthen themselves from defeating other Childs.
- Other than the protagonist and the HiME themselves, the existence of HiME are unknown to the rest of the school.
